The principles of Ayurveda will help in understanding how to live a healthy balanced life and how certain herbs can help with disorders such as headaches, constipation, PMT as well as the common cold. It also gives an insight into how the principles of Ayurveda can give a better understanding to the choices we make with regards to diet and lifestyle.

Ayurveda, meaning the knowledge of life, is a timeless wisdom passed down from the sages of ancient India. These ancient Ayurvedic texts describe seven different body-types or constitutions and recommend different diets, health regimes and lifestyles for each of them.
You will explore the basic principles of Ayurveda and how they can enhance the mind, body and spirit.
This course will help you to identify your our own and others specific constitution or body type. You will then be able to follow the guidelines set down for different body types and be able to utilise common herbs and spices to help in treating common disorders.
This Course certifies for 7 hours of group learning.

Understand and be able to determine how the seasons affect the mind and body and their functions.
Understand and be able to determine how different times of the day affect the mind and body and their functions.
Use and advise of common herbs for everyday ailments.
Advise clients of how to incorporate healthful daily and seasonal mind and body practices into a stressful lifestyle.
Advise clients with regards to diet and lifestyle on how to help with disorders often seen by therapists.
