Course Goals:

During this course you will learn safe and effective treatments for specific problems using Facial Reflexology Techniques. This treatment can be used as a stand-alone therapy, or as an additional set of tools and techniques that can be applied to various Therapies including Indian Head Massage, Holistic/Swedish Massage or Aromatherapy.

You will also learn how to carry out a stimulating Facial Massage sequence that can be used to enhance the treatment, used to stimulate you, the practitioner, first thing in the morning or be given to the client for their benefit.

Course Description:

Like the Hands, Feet and Ears, the Face also has a mirror-image of the body imposed on it.

The face is one of the areas mostly richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels. Its closeness to the brain may have evolved to ensure that any sensory stimulus to the area only had the shortest route to travel to the control centre of the body to address any health imbalances.

Through treating the reflex points of the Face the therapist is able to hasten the self-healing process of the individual.

Provides all of the benefits of Facial Acupuncture without the use of Acupuncture needles!

Among the many benefits to the client through receiving a Facial Reflexology treatment are:

Instant relief of tension on the face, neck, scalp and brain

Working with the entire body system to address specific issues

Helping to firm the facial muscles, reducing and/or preventing fine lines and wrinkles

Stimulation to increase blood circulation and activating lymphatic drainage to achieve a naturally glowing complexion

On Completion:

  • Perform a full Facial Reflexology treatment safely and effectively.
  • Adapt the Facial Reflexology techniques to help clients with specific disorders.
  • Understand the link between Facial Reflexology and the I Ching.
  • Understand the link between Facial Reflexology and Marma Points, Sen Lines and Meridian Tsubos
  • Identify, locate and work the Chakra Points on the Face.

Course Prerequisites:

You must be a qualified Reflexologist, Massage therapist, Aromatherapist, Indian Head Massage Therapist or Manual therapist (Level 3 or above) to attend this Course.
