This course will teach eastern massage techniques which work on the energy of the individual and also gives an understanding about the effects of Ayurvedic massage techniques on the chakra system.
You will learn a full sequence of Ayurvedic Back Massage incorporating Marma points found on the back and learn how to work on these Marma points to help with disorders and ailments.

Ayurveda, meaning the knowledge of life, is a timeless wisdom passed down from the sages of ancient India. Massage is an integral part of Ayurveda and this course aims to teach the traditional techniques which incorporate eastern pressure points used to give a therapeutic treatment.
Before giving an Ayurvedic massage, it is important to understand the body type of the individual and the properties and characteristics of the Ayurvedic oils. This knowledge enables the therapist to deliver a unique massaging experience adapting the massage techniques and choosing appropriate ayurvedic oils depending upon your client’s constitution.
Ayurvedic Back Massage can be easily integrated into an existing massage routine or performed as a treatment in it’s own right.
This is mainly a practical course and there will be a maximum of only 10 students on the Course.
This Course certifies for 7 hours of group learning.
Understand and be able to determine individual mind-body constitution types of your clients.
Understand the Chakra system and Marma point theory and use an Ayurvedic body type assessment tool .
Locate Marma points on the back and understand how they relate to different organs and systems of the body.
Choose specific Ayurvedic oils and adapt Ayurvedic Massage techniques according to your client’s constitution.
Perform a full Ayurvedic Back Massage either as part of your existing style of massage or as a treatment on it’s own.
You must be a qualified Massage therapist, Aromatherapist or Manual therapist (Level 3 or above) to attend this Course.
