What would you do if your client suffered a medical emergency during a treatment?
First Aid skills can be life saving.
In addition, employers, clinics and local councils are increasingly requiring Complementary Medicine Practitioners to hold a valid HSE compliant First Aid qualification in order to work at their premises.
Our next Emergency First Aid at Work – for the Complementary Medicine Practitioner courses run on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th of June. There are still a few places available.
Please note that due to the nature of this Course there will be a maximum of 12 students per teacher.
Completing the course will give you a recognised first aid qualification which is compliant with HSE First Aid at Work Regulations (1981) allowing you to carry out first aid in the workplace and providing relevant certification and documentation.
This is a Health & Safety Executive (HSE) compliant one day Certificated Course which, on successful completion, is valid for 3 years.
It is classroom based and includes theoretical knowledge and practical sessions designed to give you the ability and confidence to carry out first aid in the workplace. As there is no final exam, assessment is continuous throughout the day. The course also includes a section on legal requirements relevant to any first aid treatment carried out in the workplace.
